I started sewing when I was big enough to reach the pedals on my mother’s Singer sewing machine. I made clothes for my dolls and blankets for my animals. I made my first quilt in 4-H and entered it in the local fair. I was hooked! I have been sewing and crafting for over 40 years. My first love has been sewing, making clothes to wear to school and then sewing professionally, making custom clothing for over 5 years. I then branched out on my own making clothing, wedding dresses, blessing dresses, and anything else that seemed fun and interesting! I love a challenge and learning new things.

I have created and designed for several companies over the years and have had projects published in different magazines. I have been teaching others how to make their own creations and taking classes to learn fun, new techniques for years. I have been having the most fun teaching my 10 year old daughter how to sew and craft and she is one of my favorite students!

My amazing husband, Dwayne and I have been married for 27 years and he is my biggest support and enabler. We have 3 children, two sons 21 and 14 and my mini-me who is 10. We love to spend time together and they don’t complain when I drag my projects along to keep me busy during the drive.
