About the Class

Couching can add wonderful texture to your quilting, add drama to the design, and can even be used in thread painting and as a corded edge. This class is part lecture and part hands-on where you will learn a variety of methods to add couching as a design element to level up your quilting and then make a small pillow top to practice your new skills.
Dave’s Bernina will furnish machines along with all feet, hoops and machine needles needed.

Fabric Requirements

1 Fat Quarter of solid fabric
1 Fat Quarter of backing fabric
18” x 22” batting

Kim McCloskey teaches seeing, quilting and embroidery at Dave’s Bernina in Provo. She is an award winning quilter who loves reading to her grandkids, watching movies with her sweetheart, travel, and listening to podcasts while she sews.
